Totem Spirit (A Guest Post by Uncle Willie)

A totem spirit is an animal that represents you. Just for fun we chose an animal to represent each of the members of our family.
Edie Jane
Edie is an owl because she is a hoot! She sometimes stays up late into the night, and she watches the world closely soaking it all in.
 











Hanley
Hanley has the totem spirit of a polar bear because they are big, hairy and aggressive like he is, but also have a softer playful side.

Sadie
She is like a squirrel because they are sometimes nervous, and just like Sadie they are always busy collecting nuts.

Tyler
He is clever like a fox, and sometimes gets himself into a little bit of trouble.

Emmy
Like a coyote she can laugh at her mistakes, and reminds us to keep a sense of humor.

 Mom
Mom is a rabbit because she is always moving around and busy too. She is quick on her feet.

 Dad
 He has the totem spirit of a turtle because he is old and wise. The turtle is patient.

Like a monkey I am very active and fun and I look a little bit like one.
