The Tour

Here are a few pictures of our new house.  We are getting settled in and really love our new home. 

Front Hall:

Kitchen:

We have not done anything to the kitchen yet, but there are a few little things that I would like to do.  I really like the green paint in here.  It needs a fresh coat, but I am thinking about leaving the color.

Living Room:

This room was painted yellow with wall decals.  We painted the walls and put in new carpets.

Center Room:

This is my favorite room in the house.  It was probably intended to be a formal dinning room, but we are planning to use it more as a family room.

Mom and Dad's Room:

 

We painted the walls and ceiling in this room and replaced the light fixture.  It was yellow with a chandelier.  This room has a nice big closet room off of it.

Edie's Room:

 

In Edie's room we replaced the carpets, painted the walls and ceiling and replaced the light fixture.  This cozy little room is the smallest of the three bedrooms in the house.  

Myrtle's Spot:

Myrtle sleeps right at the top of the stairs, watching over her family.  She also likes to stand here and look for neighborhood cats out this diamond shaped window.

Upstairs there is also another good sized bedroom and a small bathroom.  Downstairs there is a large bathroom, and a sun room off of the laundry room.  There are two additional buildings, one of which was originally an above ground root cellar.  The other larger building has a completely finished front room, and a partially finished back room.

We love the new place!
